Conrad is the Editor-in-Chief of Freedom Crossroads. A former politico-turned-journalist, Conrad has a passion for faith and politics, and covering stories where those two worlds collide. When not writing, Conrad spends his time playing baseball, taking photos, and hanging out with his golden retriever.

Becca is a college freshman with a passion for Jesus and coffee. She attends Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago, and frequently volunteers for church ministries. When not writing, Becca also enjoys photography and running.

Natalie is a pragmatic Progressive Conservative from Iowa. She works in communications and politics as a Republican staffer, campaign consultant, and supporter of bi-partisan progress. Her preferred pastimes include travel, music, and art. Natalie’s major influences include Thomas Paine, George Washington, and George Will.

Lauren Rae Konkol is a conservative, Florida-grown Southerner who is passionate about America, sweet tea, and cowboy boots. She is crazy in love with Jesus and is the oldest of ten children. She studies Political Science at The University of Central Florida (Class of ’17) and is currently interning with The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission in Nashville, TN.

Chase Stevens is a 2016 graduate of Liberty University and lives in Raleigh, NC. He is an avid sports fan (especially of basketball and football!). He loves reading, and C.S. Lewis is his favorite author. Ultimately, he strives to honor God in every sphere of his life, knowing that all things will ultimately be redeemed for the glory of God. One of his life verses is Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”

Chris Madden (Liberty ’17) is the current Athletic Communications Manager in the Liberty University Athletic Department. He also is a contributing sports journalist for Beyond the Statistics, SBNation’s Shakin the Southland, News and Advance, and ESPNU’s Campus Connections. As a Christian conservative, in that order, Chris plans to combine his passion for sharing his faith with his love of writing to Freedom Crossroads in order to help fulfill his ultimate goal of glorifying the Lord through everything he does.
